I have worked on industrial design more than 20 years. I have witnessed the evolution of 3D CAD.
Today I found that designers no longer talk about form because everyone works on a screen and for the screen. I miss the manual work in the workshops, touching the materials in hand, cutting and
shaping the wood, the polystyrene in the machine, and I try to find back these feelings of design.
I created my company HoYi Design at the end of 2021 after spending 3 years training at Cerfav. I can finally make my dream come true- creating my own art and design business.

Yì (意) symbolizes spirit, metaphor and imagination, it is the utopia of artists' research in Chinese culture. In my family, and often in southern China, the first character follows the order of the sentence in a poem that was presented in the family book.

My first name is Ho Chung 可頌, so I took the same way to create my company name by taking "Ho" first and adding "Yì" then.
